Default Multiple Skill Bars

Just a thought and wanted to see what everyone else thought. I would like to see GW add mulitple skill bar support allowing us to preload different bar settings for situations. i.e: Having 1 skill bar set up for PVE and then when you want to go PVPing being able to go back to town then click over to bar 2 for PVP. Granted it will follow the same rules as in game now that you can not change any skills out until you get back to town.

Just seems logical to add this because its hard to remember with all the variety what you had set up where and when.

Just a thought tell me what you think.

I agree. My skill set for PvE is trash for PvP. My PvE W/Mo uses 4 sword/melee skills, 3 Smiting Skills, and Rez skill. This doesn't work for PvP unless I have a healer on my team.

I fear changing my skills to accomodate PvP because I will forget what I had set, and then my PvE damage dealer will be no more.

In conclusion being able to save your bar and swap it out for another is a brilliant idea.

get your digital camera out and take a snapshot. Then import that into your computer and print it off and then slap that puppy on your desktop with some tape and mark it 'DO NOT REMOVE'.

You're welcome

Actually when I read the topic title, I thought of something like you said but also being able to change it IN battle, but what you suggested is a nice idea.

Good idea - as with most people, my PvP/PvE bars are completely different skillsets. I would like to see this implemented.

I thought this was going to be another "Make this like WoW" topic. Props to you for not doing that.

I do like the idea, I wouldn't mind seeing it implemented as well.

If it's still just 8 skills but you gotta switch between two bars (PvP and PvE) I want that, too.

hmm, it'd be nice to have a few options, for instance you could name a set.

Skill bar: Healer
Skill bar: Attacker

etc

In addition, it would be nice if we could have a few slots for pvp templates. Similar to the default pvp builds, I'd like to be able to add a few of my own predefined ones to the list based off of skills I've unlocked. I have 3 RP characters and save the last one for a pvp character. This would save time during the lengthy pvp character making process.

Being able to save our own skill bar set up would be a handy feature.

As long as the in-game effect (only being able to change skills in outposts) was still in place, I can't think of any good reason not to add something like this.

This would be great--as a monk/ele I also switch between dam dealer and healer-depending on the mission type and group composition. I almost always forget to switch out a skill and have to rezone and correct it.

Bumped because I think it needs to be brought back up to the top. If I created my own topic on it, everyone would yell "OMG USE SEARCH FEATURE NOOB"

LOL Thank you! I'm a nOOb to the site, so haven't seen this before!

Sounds a great idea, I really like it. So long as you could only change it in a town or outpost. Would make life a lot easier. I often come out of PvP with my ranger to help guildies and then I have to make them wait while I change my bar... would just be convenient to be able to change at the press of a button!
